TRAINING, RESEARCH & PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT

Training, Research & Professional Engagement

I provide specialist training and professional input for organisations and practitioners working with complex trauma, offending behaviour and forensic clinical practice. My work includes developing practitioners’ understanding of risk, shame, personality disorder and therapeutic models that support change.

Training & Professional Development

Training can be delivered for forensic, clinical or multi-disciplinary teams on topics such as:

  • Understanding violence, sexual harm and cycles of behaviour

  • Working with shame, accountability and resistance to change

  • Schema Therapy and trauma-informed approaches in forensic settings

  • Personality disorder pathways and complex case formulation

  • Practitioner resilience, boundaries and ethical practice

Research & Academic Engagement

My academic background includes research on shame, trauma and harm, alongside contributions to national conferences and programme development within forensic services. I have delivered national training on offending behaviour programmes and continue to engage in professional discourse on forensic and clinical practice.

Further details of my academic publications and collaborations can be found on my professional profiles:

  • Google Scholar

  • ResearchGate

These profiles outline peer-reviewed publications, conference contributions and ongoing research interests in the areas of trauma, shame, and psychological wellbeing in forensic and clinical contexts.

Professional Collaboration

I am available for professional collaboration, conference contribution and clinical dialogue within forensic and specialist psychological fields. This work is focused on advancing understanding and ethical practice.
